An adapter to enable you to connect a 12V battery charger (12V, up to 15A rating) to the 12S (auxiliary) or 13 pin towing electrics socket.
This allows you to charge a vehicle including Discovery 3, Discovery 4, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover, Freelander 2, Defender, Range Rover Evoque, Discovery Sport, Discovery 5, camper vans and many others through the 12S (auxiliary) or 13 pin towing socket.
Please note that if you have ONLY a 12N socket (7 pins, BLACK cap) as shown in the 5th photo above it does not have the direct battery connection required - you CANNOT charge through this socket.
Fitted with an internal 15A fuse to protect the vehicle's wiring.
The CTEK connector (default option) is as shown in the main picture, with the black/orange rubber covered connector.
The second photo shows the available connector options - CTEK, CTEK Comfort, Accumate/Optimate White and Accumate/Optimate SAE.
The third photo shows the required vehicle socket for the 12S version of the adapter - 7 pins, white or grey cap. The fourth photo shows the required vehicle socket for the 13 pin version of the adapter.

Again, if you have ONLY a 12N socket (7 pins, BLACK cap) as shown in the 5th photo above it does not have the direct battery connection required and you cannot charge through the socket using an adapter.
12S 7 pin and 13 pin plugs are available, using quality plugs, an internal fuse and genuine charger sockets. Supplied with a warning card to place on the dashboard.
You can easily modify the CTEK plug (on the charger) to make it non latching, good if you are concerned about driving away with the charger connected: click here for information
If you need a longer cable, CTEK supply a 2.5m extension cable - part number 56-304, available from the likes of Amazon.
This is an adapter ONLY and is not supplied with a charger.
